Doctoral seminar Common Problems of Medical Law and Criminal Law

Kuupäev:
Mon - Tue, Okt 29 - Okt 30, 9:45am - 1:00pm

Asukoht:
Näituse 20, Tartu

The first international conference on medical law took place in Tartu in 1996. Already back then topics like doctors’ liability, euthanasia, informed consent etc. were discussed. This time these old topics are approached from a new angle and there are also several new topics. We are conducting the seminar in cooperation with the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg in Germany, where medical law is coordinated by Professor Henning Rosenau. The seminar will be mainly in English and will definitely be interesting for lawyers as well as medical students. And for those who do not practice medical law themselves, because sooner or later we will all be patients.

Organisers: Prof. Jaan Sootak, Dr. Ants Nõmper, Prof. Henning Rosenau (Halle)

Please register by 20 October, 2018 at the latest. Registration form
