There are four keynote lectures by leading experts in their fields and nine\u00a0practical workshops focusing on, for example, data analysis and visualisation, agent-based modeling and web-scraping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PhD and MA students and also supervisors from all fields of humanities and social sciences and also researchers and specialists working in relevant positions\u00a0are invited to attend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 ECTS can be awarded for full participation. This means attending the keynote lecture and one workshop every day. Attendance is verified by signing the participation list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no participation fee. Accommodation can be arranged for participating members of the organising graduate schools.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the COVID-19 situation, the summer school will have online keynote lectures, limited participation and fewer social events.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The summer school is organised on the initiative of <a href=\"http:\/\/digihum.ut.ee\/\">Centre for Digital Humanities and Information Society at University of Tartu<\/a> (CDHIS) with the support from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/doktorikool.humanitaarteadused.ut.ee\/home-0?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Graduate School of Linguistics, Philosophy and Semiotics<\/a>;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ktkdk.edu.ee\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Graduate School of Culture Studies and Arts<\/a>;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ksttdoktorikool.ut.ee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Doctoral School of Behavioural, Social and Health Sciences<\/a>;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/doktorikool.midok\/home-page?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Doctoral School in Economics and Innovation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organising
