On-campus access<\/h3>\n

Databases and e-journals purchased or subscribed to by the University of Tartu Library are accessible directly over the university\u2019s computer network.<\/p>\n

Off-campus access<\/h3>\n

VPN Connection
\n<\/strong>To access library resources from outside the university network, we recommend using a VPN connection<\/strong>. VPN provides full access to all databases, e-journals, and e-books subscribed to by the University of Tartu Library.<\/p>\n

You will need a university user account<\/strong> to set up and use the VPN connection.<\/p>\n

Remote Access without VPN
\n<\/strong>If you prefer not to set up a VPN, you can still access databases through the UT proxy server:<\/p>\n

  1. Go to the <\/span>Databases<\/strong> section on the University Library homepage.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Select <\/span>Remote access with UT username and password<\/strong> below the database you want to use.<\/span><\/li>\n
