Since 1960, the Congress <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"text-align: justify; font-weight: var(--bs-body-font-weight);\">has been organized every five years. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"text-align: justify; font-weight: var(--bs-body-font-weight);\"><strong>The 14th International Congress for Finno-Ugric Studies (CIFU XIV)<\/strong> took place on <\/span><strong style=\"text-align: justify;\">August 18\u201323 2025 in Tartu, Estonia<\/strong><span style=\"text-align: justify; font-weight: var(--bs-body-font-weight);\">. <\/span><span style=\"text-align: justify; font-weight: var(--bs-body-font-weight);\">The congress was organized by the University of Tartu Institute of Estonian and General Linguistics.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>CIFU XV<\/strong> will take place in <strong>2030<\/strong> at the <strong>E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Lor\u00e1nd University<\/strong> (ELTE) in <strong>Budapest<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congressus Internationalis Fenno-Ugristarum (CIFU) is the most important international academic event for research on the Finno-Ugric (Uralic) languages, cultures, literature, folklore, art, music, religions, history, genetics, and archaeology.
