{"id":74,"date":"2024-04-04T04:47:06","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T01:47:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/cgem\/summer-school\/"},"modified":"2024-05-06T09:29:03","modified_gmt":"2024-05-06T06:29:03","slug":"summer-school","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/cgem\/summer-school\/","title":{"rendered":"Summer school 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"><strong>The Tartu Summer school on Evolution, Genomics and Medicine 2022\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>28.11 \u2013 09.12.2022<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>This is the <strong>second\u00a0edition\u00a0of a series of annual international summer schools<\/strong> that brings together evolution, genetics and medicine.<\/p>\n<p>The school is organised by the cGEM group at the Institute of Genomics, University of Tartu, Estonia within the frames of H2020 grant cGEM.<\/p>\n<h3>Programme<\/h3>\n<p>The course is focussed on methods and resources for identifying the present-day consequences of past natural selection for phenotypic variation and susceptibility to disease, and will cover advanced methods for inferring evolutionary histories from genomics data and linking them to large-scale genomic and functional datasets.
