{"id":5,"date":"2024-04-04T08:09:52","date_gmt":"2024-04-04T05:09:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/ceeresprogrammeguide\/programme\/"},"modified":"2024-04-14T13:39:56","modified_gmt":"2024-04-14T10:39:56","slug":"programme","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/ceeresprogrammeguide\/programme\/","title":{"rendered":"Programme Structure"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The programme is designed to allow increasing geographic and thematic specialisation over\u00a0the three mobility periods.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>first semester in<\/strong> <strong>Tartu<\/strong> provides a comprehensive introduction to the wider region, and an introduction to research design.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>second semester in Glasgow<\/strong> allows students to choose a regional pathway (Russian Studies, Central and East European Studies, Eurasian Studies, or Western Balkans Studies) and to obtain more regionally-specific knowledge. The <strong>Summer School<\/strong> provides concrete training in research methods that can be used for dissertation research. It also offers a chance to obtain a professionally-accredited qualification from the Institute of Leadership and Management in professional skill development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>third mobility<\/strong> provides an opportunity to explore students\u2019 academic interests with a wider array of courses on offer.
