We are continuing to provide scholarships for Ukrainian students and support our Ukrainian associate partners at the National University of\u00a0Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA). Information on initiatives\u00a0taken by the\u00a0<a title=\"\" data-url=\"https:\/\/ut.ee\/en\/ukraine#:~:text=The%20University%20of%20Tartu%20scholarship%20fund%20collects%20donations%20to%20support,can%20support%20the%20Ukrainian%20army.\" href=\"https:\/\/ut.ee\/en\/ukraine#:~:text=The%20University%20of%20Tartu%20scholarship%20fund%20collects%20donations%20to%20support,can%20support%20the%20Ukrainian%20army.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Tartu<\/a> and <a title=\"\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.gla.ac.uk\/explore\/ukraine\/\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gla.ac.uk\/explore\/ukraine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">University of Glasgow<\/a> to support Ukraine can be found on the respective university websites. <p>Following Russia\u2019s invasion of Ukraine, we have suspended our cooperation with our Russian partner university. IMCEERES students will no longer be able to travel to Russia for their third mobility, but it is still possible to follow the \u201cRussian Studies\u201d track at several of our other partner universities.<\/p><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About IMCEERES<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>International Master in Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (IMCEERES)<\/strong>\u00a0aims to give students a thorough knowledge and understanding of <strong>historical and contemporary developments in the society, politics, economics and culture<\/strong> of this large and diverse area. It offers a wide variety of options for advanced study of the region\u2019s shared and divergent history, allowing students\u00a0to specialise in certain geographical, linguistic and thematic areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IMCEERES offers you the unique opportunity to <strong>study in three or four international universities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme is designed to meet the needs of a variety of employees in <strong>major public, commercial, and voluntary institutional settings<\/strong> who wish to acquire a specialised knowledge of Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Eurasia. It is also intended to cater for newly graduated first-degree holders seeking to enter employment in areas which require people with an <strong>in-depth knowledge of the region and highly developed analytical skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students emerge with two degrees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>International Master (IntM) in Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies: <strong>University of Glasgow, UK and University of Tartu, Estonia (joint degree)<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students will also receive a single parchment from Tartu, Master of Arts in Social Sciences (MA) in Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And one of the following degrees (depending on where the student spends their third mobility period):\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Master of Arts (MA) in Political Science (Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies): <strong>Corvinus University Budapest, Hungary<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Master of Caucasus Studies (MCS) in Political Science (Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies): <strong>Ilia State University, Georgia<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Magister (mgr) of European Studies (Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies): <strong>Jagiellonian University, Poland<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Master (M) of International Relations (Central and East European Studies): <strong>KIMEP University, Kazakhstan<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Master of Arts (MA) in International Relations and Diplomacy (Central and East European, Russian and Eurasian Studies):\u00a0<strong>University of Sarajevo,\u00a0Bosnia &amp; Herzegovina<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a0<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About this site<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This site is the digital handbook of the IMCEERES programme.
