The core course \u2018Introduction to CEERES\u2019 ensures that students have requisite knowledge of important historical, social, economic and political themes related to our areas of study.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Additionally, the semester is vital in determining dissertation topics. As part of the assessment for \u2018Introduction to CEERES\u2019, students will be required to compose MA thesis proposals. These are crucial in determining thesis supervision and third mobilities in Year 2. If you still can&amp;#8217;t find anything, contact the Tartu coordinator for help.\">will be sent<\/a> along with immatriculation details shortly before the start of the registration period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Overall, students must complete 30 ECTS during the first semester: 24 ECTS from the compulsory courses and 6-12 ECTS from language courses. Students can take additional courses, but these will not count towards the degree.
