Loomade \u00f6koloogiline efektiivsus on keskmiselt\u00a0<strong>10%\u00a0<\/strong>ja seega\u00a0l\u00e4heb\u00a0\u00a0<strong>90%<\/strong>\u00a0kaduma, mida nimetatakse\u00a0<strong>energia v\u00e4ljavooluks<\/strong>.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n\tBiomassi ja energia jagunemist \u00f6kos\u00fcsteemis v\u00f5ib kujutada lisaks toiduahelale ja toiduv\u00f5rgustikule ka\u00a0<strong>\u00f6koloogilise p\u00fcramiidina<\/strong>. P\u00fcramiidi astmete suurused vastavad toiduahela l\u00fclidele nii, et p\u00fcramiidi alus kujutab tootjaid, teine aste herbivoore, kolmas nendest toituvaid kiskjaid kuni tipptarbijateni v\u00e4lja.
