The rri-ICT Forum project, launched on Jan. 1, 2015 for a period of 3 years, aims at analysing, supporting and promoting the contribution of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) to, and the Responsible Research and Innovation (rri) approach in ICT research and innovation under H2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.responsible-industry.eu\/\">Responsible Industry<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Responsible-Industry is an EU-funded project that explores how private corporations can conduct their research and innovation activities responsibly.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/heirri.eu\/\">HEIrri Project<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HEIrri is a European project which aims to integrate the concept of \u201cResponsible Research and Innovation\u201d (rri) into university careers in science and technology, so that research and innovation meets societal needs, values \u200b\u200band expectations.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.graceful-project.eu\/\">GRACeFUL Project<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Global Systems Science is a FET Proactive initiative under Horizon 2020 that seeks to improve the way scientific knowledge can help inform and evaluate policy and societal responses to global challenges like climate change and global financial crises.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/nano2all.eu\/\">NANO2ALL<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NANO2ALL is an initiative funded by the HORIZON 2020 Programme of the European Commission and aims to support the cultivation of a Responsible Research and Innovation (rri) governance ecosystem, by enhancing transparency and public confidence, co-production of knowledge, societal engagement and informed dialogue as key factors in addressing societal concerns regarding the use of nanotechnology.<\/p>\n<p>Global Systems Science is a FET Proactive initiative under Horizon 2020 that seeks to improve the way scientific knowledge can help inform and evaluate policy and societal responses to global challenges like climate change and global financial crises.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.expecteverything.eu\/hypatia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hypatia Project<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Hypatia project will engage 13-18 year old girls both in and out the school environment. To do this, Hypatia will bring together science centres and museums, schools, research institutions and industry with gender experts and teenagers themselves. We will develop toolkits for each of them, so everyone is empowered to organise and create gender inclusive activities, programmes and events.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.go-lab-project.eu\/\">The Go-Lab Project<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Go-Lab Project (Global Online Science Labs for Inquiry Learning at School) opens up online science laboratories\/ remote and virtual labs for the large-scale use in education.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eesc.europa.eu\/resources\/docs\/rapportrocardfinal.pdf\">Rocard report: \u201cScience Education Now: A New Pedagogy for the Future of Europe\u201d (.pdf)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In recent years, many studies have highlighted an alarming decline in young people\u2019s interest for key science\u00a0studies and mathematics. Despite the numerous projects and actions that are being implemented to reversethis trend, the signs of improvement are still modest.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/research\/participants\/portal\/desktop\/en\/home.html\">The Participant Portal \u2013 European Commission<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Participant Portal is the single-entry point for interactions about the EU research and innovation programmes with the European Commission and its Executive Agencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.inspiring-science-education.net\/\">ISE Project<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Inspiring Science Education is all about providing the tools to make science education more challenging, more playful and above all more imaginative and inspiring for today\u2019s students, the citizens of tomorrow\u2019s world.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/responsibility-rri.eu\/?lang=en\">RESPONSIBILITY project<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The RESPONSIBILITY project aims to create a network of stakeholders that would adopt and diffuse a common understanding in rri between different actors in Europe and around the globe.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/res-agora.eu\/news\/\">Res-AGorA Project<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The major goal of the Res-AGorA project (Responsible Research and Innovation in a Distributed Anticipatory Governance Frame.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.progressproject.eu\/\">ProGReSS Project<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ProGReSS aims to promote a European approach to Responsible Research and Innovation (rri) through a global network.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.livingknowledge.org\">PERARES Project \u2013 Public engagement with research and research engagement with society<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Public Engagement with Research And Research Engagement with Society: a four years project funded by the European Community\u2019s 7th Framework Programme started in 2010.\u00a0The PERARES\u00a0 project aims to strengthen public engagement in research (PER) by involving researchers and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in the formulation of research agendas and the research process.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.great-project.eu\/\">GREAT project \u2013 Governance for Responsible Innovation<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<em>GREAT<\/em>\u00a0project will\u00a0develop an empirically based and theoretically sound model of the role of responsible research and innovation governance.\u00a0The project will explore the dynamics of participation in research and innovation, and investigate the characteristics of responsible practices.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/engage2020.eu\/\">Engage 2020 \u2013 Engaging society in Horizon 2020<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Engage2020 is a project funded by the European Commission (DG Research) looking at research, innovation and related activities and exploring how members of society are involved today, and perhaps more importantly how they could be in the future.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rri-tools.eu\/\">rri Tools: building a better relationship between science and society<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>rri Tools has been set up in order to empower all actors to contribute their share to the Responsible Research and Innovation initiative.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/science-girl-thing.eu\/en\">Science: It\u2019s a girl thing!<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cScience: It\u2019s a girl thing!\u201d is a campaign by the European Commission that targets girls and women aged 13-25 to choose a career in science and research.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.parrise.eu\/\">The PArriSE project<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The PArriSE (Promoting Attainment of Responsible Research &amp; Innovation in Science Education) project aims at introducing the concept of Responsible Research and Innovation \u00a0in primary and secondary education.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.discoverthecosmos.eu\/\">The Discover the COSMOS Initiative<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Discover the COSMOS coordination action aims to demonstrate innovative ways to involve teachers and students in e-Science through the use of existing e-infrastructures in order to spark young people\u00b4s interest in science and in following scientific careers.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.eurovolvox.org\/\">The Volvox project<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Volvox project team is a group of biology teachers and specialists from ten countries across the European Union.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.profiles-project.eu\/index.html\"><strong>PROFILES \u2013 Professional Reflection-Oriented Focus on Inquiry-based Learning and Education through Science<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0PROFILES project\u00a0aims at disseminating Inquiry-Based Science Education (IBSE).\u00a0To achieve this, the\u00a0PROFILES partners\u00a0are using and conducting innovative learning environments and programmes for the enhancement of teachers\u2019 continuous professional development.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scy-net.eu\/web\/guest\/home\">SCY project<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SCY stands for\u00a0Science Created by You.
