When you start to create your data management plan, you should decide at the very beginning which language you would use.\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t\tIs it a cooperation project?\n\t<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t\tDo you plan to engage international researchers or students from the first phases of the work or add them to your group in the future? Data management plan has to be understood by all members of your working group.\n\t<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t\tYou should also consider the funders\u2019 requirements for the language of your DMP.\u00a0Are external experts involved in the evaluation?\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t\tEach user can create their DMP according to their specific needs, share it with their co-workers, export it and check who has examined or complemented the plan.\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tCreating an account<br>\n<\/h3>\n<p lang=\"ET-EE\" style=\"text-align: justify\" xml:lang=\"ET-EE\">\n\tTo sign up use your UT e-mail address and a secure password. Under the organisation section\u00a0choose\u00a0<em>University of Tartu<\/em>. After that\u00a0familiarise yourself with terms and conditions, accept and create an account.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p lang=\"ET-EE\" style=\"text-align: justify\" xml:lang=\"ET-EE\">\n\tTo sign in choose signing in with UT credentials. After that you\u2019ll be redirected to the next page where you should search University of Tartu and click Sign in.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"DMP_juhis_inglise\" src=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/301\/dmp_juhis_inglise.png\" style=\"width: 800px;height: 515px\">\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t<strong>At your first login,<\/strong> you will see page shown below. Fill out\u00a0the form and click <em>Create plan<\/em>.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"new_plan\" src=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/301\/createnewplan.png\" style=\"width: 800px;height: 368px\">\n<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tCreation of a DMP<br>\n<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tAs Estonian funders have not set very specific requirements about the DMP content, you can well use the most general instruction at the <em>Digital Curation Centre<\/em>, which can be seen by selecting <em>Plan overview<\/em>. When you start to work with the plan, these questions and additional instructions appear beside the work window.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"plan_overview\" src=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/301\/planoverview.png\" style=\"width: 800px;height: 599px\">\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tAll DMPs, which you have created, can be seen on\u00a0<em>My Dashboard<\/em>, where you can select and edit them.\n<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tSharing and downloading of a DMP<br>\n<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tThe created <strong>DMPs can be shared<\/strong>, or they can be created from the very beginning in cooperation with others. There are three levels for sharing:\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t\tright to see\n\t<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t\tright to edit, i.e., to add text\n\t<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t\tright to be a co-owner, i.e., to add text and to give rights.\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tAs the owner of DMP, you can enter the e-mail addresses of the persons you wish to share the plan with into the relevant box, specify their rights, and continue the cooperation.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tThe persons whom you invite will receive an e-mail with information about the invitation, but in order to see the DMP they have to registered in the DMPonline environment. The same applies when you change their level of rights.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tIf you need to submit the DMP, e.g. when applying for a grant, you need to export it from the work environment.\n<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t\tDMP can be downloaded in several different formats, such as pdf, csv, html, json, text, xml, docx; a pdf file can be formatted as well.\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tDrawing up a DMP<br>\n<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tFirst, you need to enter information about your project, i.e., administrative metadata:\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t<strong>Project title:<\/strong>\u00a0 the same as in your research application<br><strong>Funder:<\/strong><br><strong>No of the grant:<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t\tAll official titles and identification numbers of the project need to be entered carefully without any mistakes, because they are used to interlink organisations, grants, projects, reports, articles and data\u00a0\u00a0(e.g., on the\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.openaire.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OpenAIRE portal<\/a>).\u00a0\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t<strong>Project description:<\/strong> give a short overview of the project to help others promptly to understand its nature.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t\tWhat type of a research is it?\n\t<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t\tFormulate the main topic of your research.\n\t<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t\tFor what purpose are the data created or collected?\n\t<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t<strong>ID:<\/strong>\u00a0identifier, assigned by the funder or the university (if it exists)\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\t<strong>Information about the project leader (research professor) and contact person:<\/strong> names of the research leader and\/or main participating researchers, their identifiers and contacts\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tThen, open new topics by clicking on \u201c+\u201d and fill in the content of your DMP.\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"contents\" src=\"https:\/\/sisu.ut.ee\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/301\/kirjuta.png\" style=\"width: 800px;height: 422px\">\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\n\tAll these topics will later be discussed separately and more thoroughly. \u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DMPonline\u00a0is a work environment for creating data management plans.
